We’ve come a long way since opening our first store in Los Angeles, CA, in 1959. And we remain as passionate as ever about investing in America.
Building our products close to our customers helps us support the communities where we work and live. We’re especially proud to have been the very first international automaker capable of complete product creation in the U.S., and that in 2025, more than 60% of Honda vehicles sold in America were manufactured here using globally and locally-sourced parts and materials.

North America has been a crucial part of Honda since we first touched down here in 1979 in Marysville, Ohio. We were the first Japanese automaker to bring our craft here, and we’ve been growing ever since.
